The Foundation Midnight Sun Marathon (MSM) was established in 1989. The owners are: Mack, The Newspaper Tromsø, The athletic club TUIL, Sparebanken Nord-Norge, Harila as, Troms Kraft as and The Authority of Tromsø . The main purpose for MSM is to organise road races like marathon. The Midnight Sun Marathon is our main race and is the Northern most AIMS certified marathon in the world. We have also established a winter half marathon in Tromsø, The Polar Night Halfmarathon that is in January. Other races we have are uphill run in August and a reindeer race in February.
